Galápagos land iguanas — one of three species of land iguana found in Galápagos — went extinct on Santiago island in the early 20th century. But three years ago as part of the Land Iguana Project, they were reintroduced to the island. Here's a promising update on how this new generation of juveniles are thriving in a habitat lost long ago.
