December Book Pick

Join artist and adventurer, Mike Shisler, as he invites readers to come along on a 3,000-mile bicycling journey along the Continental Divide. At the time of writing, the author is 10 years into a 30-year goal of making a piece of art every day. When his goal meets this adventure, the result is his latest book The Art of Bikepacking: The Continental Divide, an engaging tapestry of art and storytelling created amidst adventure.

Mike Shisler

Mike Shisler is an artist, architect, and adventurer with a loft goal: to create a piece of art every, single, day. A decade into the project, it’s going extremely well. In addition to a multitude of sketches and paintings, Shisler has produced two books–as a result of fulfilling his daily goal while tackling two separate 3,000-mile bicycle excursions.

You can read more about his latest bicycle adventure here, his excursion from California to Alaska here, and check out his art at his shop: www.etsy.com/shop/DrawnThere
