May Book Pick
In honor of mental health awareness month, we found it fitting to select Something in the Woods Loves You, by Jarod K. Anderson. In it, Anderson–who has struggled with lifelong depression–tells the tale of one of his darkest stretches and how deliberate, recurring encounters with the natural world served as a lifeline for him.
In addition to this deeply personal story, Anderson has authored three books of poetry. He is also the creator of The Cryptonaturalist podcast. Read Kinute’s interview with the author here.
