01. Alyse Dietel
Alyse threw herself into her art following a debilitating climbing accident in 2012. From her wheelchair she drew the wild places and animals that made her feel free. Against all projections, Alyse made a full recovery. Today she creates art full time and travels regularly–which has included numerous artist residencies around the world. Her art is guided by a deep appreciation for the natural world and says that, “My goal as an artist is to utilize my drawings to instill a sense of wonder, curiosity, and respect for nature while also drawing attention to the need to conserve and protect our natural environment and take action on the current climate crisis.” Learn more at amilliontinylines.com
