01. Photographer pick: Chris Eisold
Chis Eisold didn't pick the easiest thing to focus his camera on: surf photography. Not only are his subjects fast-moving but he and his camera (on shore) are so far away it's hard to get a good focus. But he gets the job done and has grown a huge portfolio of surfboards, waves and the beautiful horizons of New Hampshire.
His photos are available through Seacoastsnaps.

02. Article pick: Confessions of a First-time Rafter
“You need to live your own adventure — otherwise you’ll end up telling other people’s stories instead of your own.”
This post was written by a professional blogger who usually sticks to food and craft beer. She forced herself out of her comfort zone for this rugged five-day, four-night rafting trip and did a beautiful job documenting her time, which included hanging amongst black bears and many other real-life “National Geographic” moments she will remember forever.
