Active Travel Adventures.
02. Audio pick: Active Travel Adventures
We all like to be comfortable, but we're not meant to be comfortable all the time. After all, when's the last time you did something incredible while in your comfort zone? Inspirational and informative, Active Travel Adventures is the perfect motivational push we all need to test our boundaries and make memories.
Show host and adventure specialist Kit Parks and her team scour the planet for the most fun and beautiful active vacations. They basically plan out the adventures for you in the episodes, which all offer and encourage ways to truly immerse yourself in another landscape or culture. The point is to mix the beautiful foreign scenery with healthy movement, making a vacation really worth your while. The featured adventures usually involve hiking, biking, swimming or paddling and are safe and doable for most (though might require a bit of training).
Our favorite episode is Gorilla Trekking in Uganda. Check it out on activetraveladventures.com.
